This small Greek Revival church is nestled into a walled churchyard. Erected under the leadership of English immigrant William Harrison, the church has long been a center of religious, social, and civic influence that far outweighs its size. The gable-end two-bay building has a brick pediment outlined by a modest classical cornice. The double entrance doors are framed by a transom and stained glass sidelights beneath a rising wooden lintel with fretwork inspired by the builders' guides of Asher Benjamin.
