This church's prominent square tower in the reentrant angle of this cross-gabled stone church has a belfry with diminutive balconies that is similar to that of the Methodist Church (FR29) in Stephens City. A steeply pitched roof of slate shingles covers the church. The seventy-five-foot-high entrance tower contains one of the last hand-played carillons in the Shenandoah Valley.
