1873. 1321½ E. Main St.

A fascinating curiosity, this narrow facade, only 7 ½ feet wide, is one of Richmond's architectural oddities. It was built on a sliver of land to serve as a passageway and provide a Main Street address for a larger structure on the interior of the block. The windows on the second and third stories have handsome ornamental surrounds and are capped by segmental and triangular pediments, respectively.
