Five formerly independent two- and three-story commercial buildings from the early 1870s now constitute this modern office complex. They were constructed within two years of each other and occupied by different businesses, from an auction house to a real estate office. Each had a cast iron first floor and brick upper floors, some with cast iron details. In poor shape by the early 1980s, they were carefully preserved and rehabilitated.
