This two-story pharmacy facing Courthouse Square derives its presence from exposure of its long side wall on 6th Street. Finishing the street walls of the building with cement plaster scored to look like stone block gives it a larger sense of scale than adjoining buildings of similar size. This perception of bigness is increased by the dimensions of plate-glass sash windows flanking the rear entrance on 6th Street. The east side of Courthouse Square includes such notable early-twentieth-century storefronts as the one-story building at 2133 Avenue G (formerly the McLendon Building) , which displays Leffland's trademark tripartite facade; the two-story brick commercial block at number 2109–2111; and the building of 1914 at number 2127–2129.
