For several years in the 1920s, San Antonio architect Addis F. Noonan monopolized Bay City's architectural scene. His buildings attest to the popularity of the Spanish Mediterranean style. This former pharmacy holds its own among larger-scaled commercial blocks with a parapet cresting of Spanish tile and delicately detailed cast-stone finials and a central parapet.
