This composition of small masses is grouped around the two-story space of a living room whose huge mullioned window faces inland through the field of tall reeds to the marsh beyond. The simple, almost elegant, stuccoed vernacular recalls the late nineteenth-century English country house designs of C. F. A. Voysey and M. H. Baillie Scott.
