1883, Richard Morris Hunt. 333 Gibbs Ave.

This small, picturesque building, with its deepset south-facing balcony under a prominent eave and much decorative timber- and brickwork, looks transported from some Alpine locale. It was originally an auxiliary building at the rear of the Henry Marquand estate, Linden Place, designed by Hunt in 1872 and now destroyed.
