A law school was affiliated with Dickinson College but later separated. In the early twentieth century, it drew on the regional Georgian style for its main academic building as well as its later, southern colonial–influenced dormitory group. Between Dickinson College and the law school is Allison Methodist Church in the gray stone of the main campus. Its late Victorian church burned in 1954 and was replaced in 1958 from a design by A. Hensel Fink, one of Paul P. Cret's students at the University of Pennsylvania.
