The central portion of this former home for 100 working mine mules was moved into town and expanded into condominiums. The barn's tall, narrow profile is almost a caricature of its former self. Two doors east and far less altered is the Colorado Fuel and Iron Company mine superintendent's two-story frame Queen Anne dwelling (c. 1888).
