1904, George Louis Bettcher. 300 Wilcox St. (northeast corner of 3rd St.)

This two-story building constructed with alternating wide and narrow courses of rough-faced rhyolite housed a bank until it closed in 1933. The Masons purchased it in 1937. Although the cupola is gone, the corner entrance behind arched openings is still there, as are the fan transoms of the arched second-story windows. Decorative fleur-de-lis medallions anchor tie rods between the floors, and a paneled frieze rises to a bracketed and dentiled cornice.
