c. 1910. 221 Cantril St. (southwest corner of 3rd St.) (NR)

William W. Cantril's two-story four-square is a rare brick residence in the older part of a frame and stone town. It is distinguished by plain, overhanging eaves from a hipped roof, arched windows, and raised stringcourses of stone at the sill levels of both floors. A rear addition matches the size and style of the original, now converted to the Cantril House Apartments for senior citizens.
