This three-story, L-shaped hotel has housed the Fremont and First National banks behind its 12-foot-high storefronts with colored glass panels framing the transoms. The brick exterior is crowned with an incised garland frieze and dentiled cornice with finials. Although the upper-story windows retain their arched trim, most street-level openings have been altered and have lost their original colored glass transoms.
