1907. 3424 Uniontown Rd.

This diminutive classical building was constructed as the Carroll County Savings Bank, established in 1871. The design is typical of small-town banks, featuring a shed roof with front parapet and

brick construction with contrasting stone frontispiece and other details. The bank closed in 1979 but retains its original interiors and vault. It was donated to Historic Uniontown for use as a local history museum, further accommodated by a modern raised-seam metal-sheathed addition to the rear.
