This five-bay composition of round-arched windows between pairs of engaged Ionic columns appears to be based upon Bramante’s Vatican Belvedere upper court (after 1505). Columns, arches, and entablature are cream terra-cotta, and walls are tawny brick. The entablature with a brick frieze carries a stout balustrade.
