A brickmason's tour-de-force, this arcaded edifice features pairs of round-arched windows in round, corbeled insets and a recessed, round-arched entry rising the building's full two stories. The ornate brick-work extends to the triple cornice and the soaring smokestack. Once the powerhouse, corporate offices, and car barns of the Denver City Cable Railway Company, the building has been converted to offices and first-floor retail space in a monument to Denver's once extensive cable car system.
