Shipped in pieces to the site by rail, the original board-and-batten depot served until its abandonment in 1939. Moved from the west end of town in 1965 and restored for the revived Georgetown, Breckenridge & Leadville Railroad, it has been augmented by new construction, including shops and garages (1986).
