Completed in 1986 and renovated thirty years later, the Homer and Ruth Moseley Sports Center at Alaska Pacific University is a windowless concrete building set next to an all-glass entrance. The interior encompasses roughly 18,000 square feet. The sculpted garden wall adorning the exterior is part of the frieze from the original building, the Anchorage Museum of History and Art.

The Moseley, as it is commonly referred to, provides the campus community with a recreational setting for aquatic sports, fitness, and wellness activities. The facility is also available to faculty, staff and alumni at reduced admission rates, and members of the Anchorage community are also able to purchase access. The saltwater pool is particularly popular.

In 2016, the First National Bank Alaska donated $111,280 to upgrade the facilities and increase the energy efficiency of the building. The renovations also included repairs to the pool deck, gymnasium floor, and locker rooms.
