This eclectic three-story house features a Second Empire mansard roof above Italianate detailing on the three-story entrance bay tower and the flanking two-story polygonal bay. The double lot gives the house a parklike setting, permitting the dominance of the corner entrance emphasized by curved porches and crowned by an octagonal tower. In 1892 the house was sold to Sol West, a stockman, and later passed on to West's son Ike.
