Although narrow, the bank is an expressive work by Giles, complete with a corner tower from which to overlook the business of Main Street. The Richardsonian ornamentation of the tower's balconies is particularly handsome, as is the powerful masonry of the west side of the building, where the stonework appears almost cyclopean in contrast with the carefully trimmed blocks of the facade.
