The small compound is composed of Moore's house, an ebullient folly, and the adjacent small house of his former student and colleague Andersson. Moore's house displays his imagination in free form as well as a brilliant sense of design where he adapted an older house into a contemporary setting enriched by large windows and doors and bright colors, filled with his vast library and toy collection. Andersson's more restrained gabled house, built in 1987, is located within swimming distance of the main house around the pool and arbored court.
