1913. 201 Patton St.

Most of Danville's tobacco-related buildings are south of the Dan River and east of Main Street. This brick former warehouse, now an office building, originally had stables on the ground floor and a warehouse on the second. Its large interior spaces had skylights to ventilate and light the warehouse's auction floor below. Approximately fifteen bays long, the building is divided into nine segments within shallow recesses below the structure's gabled roof. Rectangular windows, some single, some triple, are set in segmental arches. The building's curved configuration follows a bend in the street that has now been straightened.
