1877. 609 Jefferson Ave. (northwest corner of Jefferson Ave. and 7th St.)

Fittingly named, this rectangular Italianate house stands between the two churches just described. Built of brick, it has decorative hood molds over its gently segmented window heads and a bracketed cornice supporting overhanging eaves. The house was restored in the 1980s and now, painted with appropriate and dapper Victorian-era colors, serves as a Chamber of Commerce office and tourist information center.
