This small, two-story brick building, which housed the city's first bank, was moved here from 3rd Avenue to commemorate a dubious distinction: members of Jesse James's gang may once have robbed it. Only two bays wide, its facade is enlivened with handsome brick quoins and cornice. Appearing more like a store (which it now is, after serving a brief stint as a banking museum) than a bank, it is typical of Huntington's earliest commercial buildings.
