This two-story brick rendition of a building type more often done in frame still maintains its metal trackside awning. Supported on brackets, the awning wraps around a two-story polygonal bay at the center of the facade. The Huntington & Big Sandy Railroad, a short-haul line that ran along the Ohio River between Huntington and Kenova to the west, built the depot. The depot later became a passenger station on the B&O, which absorbed the Huntington line in 1901. It now houses a restaurant.
