Later additions and modifications to this house screen the original work of Cosby Jr. Wings, portico, and dormers have been added to his original three-bay two-story brick Greek Revival house. This house, like the other Cosby Jr. residences on Mountain Road, follows the early Southside pattern of placing dwellings well back from the roadway. Many of the trees and shrubs on the generous grounds are thought to be part of the original plantings.
