Like the nearby Judkins House, this is a simple, bracketed block. The “pagoda” roof projecting over the entrance steps from undulant latticed supports on pendant brackets, and the tentlike sag and flare of the roofs for the bay windows, however, indicate the exotic strand of Far and Near Eastern inspiration in Victorian design.
