Built as a small ordinary (tavern), this is a T-shaped two-story brick structure with a frame section in the rear. The brick section has a two-room plan with separate entrances for each first-floor room and has retained one of its two original exterior-end chimneys. A two-story gallery, with a heavy frame overhang extending from the roofline, runs along the front of the building.
