Ranging along both sides of the street, approximately a dozen commercial buildings present a historic streetscape adjoining Court Square. Most of the buildings are of frame construction, two stories high and three or four bays wide. They are typical of Italianate commercial buildings with wood-framed storefronts and parapeted false fronts with wood or pressed-metal bracketed cornices. A couple of the stores incorporate more modern materials such as pressed-metal siding and rock-faced concrete blocks. Most still have ornate pressed-metal ceilings on their first floors.
