The Gothic Revival chapel follows the collegiate model with a long nave and only a subtle suggestion of a transept. An austere unadorned building, stone inside and out, its tall narrow proportions echo Zantzinger, Borie and Medary's St. Andrew's Chapel for the Philadelphia Divinity School (
PH148). A squared apse features five tall stained glass panels set above a carved oak retable. Small side aisles, dimly lit by widely spaced tiny stained glass windows, emphasize the building's appealing solidity. Above, narrow clerestory stained glass windows light the nave.
