The centerpiece of the small campus is the original library, a two-story stone Collegiate Gothic building. Wallace Ruhe, of the local firm of Ruhe and Lang, produced a design featuring a large domed belfry based on Christopher Wren's Tom Tower at Christ Church, Oxford. In 1990 the building was remodeled and now serves as the college's admissions office. In recent years the college has begun to adopt contemporary design. The Trexler Library (1988) is the work of Philadelphia modernists GBQC Architects, while the adjacent Baker Center for the Arts (1976) by Philip Johnson has something of the appearance of a modern church in its steeply gabled glass galleria.
