1862; 1881–1882, Edwin Forrest Durang. 30 E. Franklin St.

A small mill community to the south of Media supported the so-called Old Brick Church, a modest one-story brick chapel that was built in 1862. Its ecclesiastical character is primarily conveyed by the pointed Gothic windows. With an expanding congregation and new wealth generated by the regional industrial economy, a new church was constructed whose principal feature is a square tower, capped by an elongated four-sided spire that recalls the tower by James P. Sims for St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Philadelphia's Mount Airy at 29 W. Tulpehocken Street.
