Whittell built this structure as a clubhouse where he and his guests could play games late into the night. It stands about 200 feet east of the main house, overlooking a small cove below and the lake beyond. Paired curved side stairs with low stone walls lead to a large stone landing and patio in front of the house. As on the main house, an iron eagle marks the front entrance. An arched entry under the landing gives access to the tunnel running between the nearby boathouse and the main house. The original boathouse is built into the hillside under the terraces between the main house and card house. After Whittell bought a larger boat, he constructed another boathouse, located beyond the card house and its small cove.
