On the opposite side of Grove are three granite Victorian houses adapted as offices and for other uses. They have the round, engaged towers and complicated rooflines of the Queen Anne style, but their ornamental porch detail looks as if it had been drawn from a pattern book of the 1870s. They complement each other with their lively rooflines and varied projections. Their distinctive pump houses are a rare survival.
