A two-story Midwestern cube house veers from the normal with its elaboration of decorated rafter tails which extend beyond the eaves and are sawed in a step pattern. The windows are carefully grouped, and their arrangement, plus the general horizontality of the cube together with its broad front porch, conveys a Prairie-esque quality.
