Virtually identical to the Brackett House when built, this house was altered during the Storer College years with a stone addition. During the summers, it was used as a tourist boardinghouse, but a fire in 1942 destroyed the addition, and the original portion reverted solely to college use. After the National Park Service acquired the building, the ruins of the stone wing were removed, and the porches were rebuilt. The house is now used as administrative offices.
