Set in a spacious lawn, surrounded by farm fields, this somewhat blocky Italianate house is embellished with gently segmented window heads, a bracketed cornice, and a varicolored slate roof. A hip-roofed cupola, also covered in varicolored slates, is an unexpected flourish. Inside, original walnut doors, trim, and framing remain.
