The elaborately ornamented Spanish Colonial Revival house for cattleman Kokernot is symmetrical in form. A projecting entrance bay is adorned by a Spanish Baroque architrave surrounding its front door. Its low-rising terrace composed of bulbous-shaped balustrades, a feature not commonly found in Monte Vista, makes this house a much more exuberant example of the style than the Pleas J. McNeel House (see SA100.1), the William Schutz House (
SA100.3) and the Mary A. Stowers House (
SA101).
