For Virgil Keith's mother, Ida Long Keith, Stone produced an engaging one- and two-story, stucco-surfaced, tile-roofed Mediterranean-type house. The entrance is stationed in a timber-framed tower diagonally rotated to face the street corner and capped by a weather vane. Exterior draperies framing the second-story balcony are an inspired touch.

Across the street at number 2425 is the imposing J. Alex Marshall House of 1931 by Live-say and Wiedemann. In the next block at 2370 Long Avenue is the steel-framed, limestone-faced Spanish Mediterranean house of Samuel D. Park Jr. of 1931.
