Perhaps the last of the houses built in this neighborhood as a summer residence, this brick Neo-Georgian design uses stone detailing around windows and entryway and brick quoining patterns to simulate ornamental motifs more often found locally in wood. Its central staircase was removed from an eighteenth-century New York town house.
