Tucked among the storefronts of S. Sophie Street is this somber and dignified little Tudor Revival building trimmed with red sandstone. It was built as a funeral home to the plans of Nelson. The front is boldly faced with rock-faced local stone and half timbering infilled with stucco. A segmental-arched entrance with decorative carving is positioned in a pavilion. The recessed door has a fanlight. Windows are grouped in twos and threes. A pent roof crowns the building.
