1930, Howard F. Young. W. Michigan Ave. and Kalamazoo St.

The centerpiece of the fountain circle is a circular Doric colonnade on a raised and stepped circular base containing a fountain designed by Young. It was given in 1933 as a memorial to Charles Esselstyn Brooks by his son Harold Craig Brooks. The circle was the site of the now demolished first courthouse, a brick Greek Revival building erected in 1838.
