c. 1899. 1117 Clay St.

The Richardsonian Romanesque is here interpreted through a wood frame sheathed in shingles. There is a thin, full arch that forms an entrance into the broad front porch. A second small-arched opening has been placed in the central third-floor gable, and mirrors the entrance below. There is a strong hint of classicism conveyed by the Colonial Revival elements evident in the design of this house.
