This Streamline Moderne composition of single-story rectangular brick boxes has a flat roof that extends in wide overhangs supported by round steel posts. It replaces a grandiose 1892 three-story station that incorporated a Harvey House restaurant. A minimalist approach also characterizes the starkly Modernist passenger waiting room and ticket office inside.
