Queen Anne massing focused on a square corner tower distinguishes this two-story brick home with sandstone foundation, windowsills, pediments, and stringcourses. A polygonal, two-story bay flanks the west side, while a three-story turret stands at the southwest corner. Double and triple fluted colonnettes with Corinthian capitals support the front porch roof. Originally owned by Samuel H. Atwater, a realtor, the house deteriorated after conversion to a tuberculosis sanatarium but has now been restored as a private residence.
