At the south end of a full-block site that is now Library Park, with a new library (1979) at the northwest corner, Rocky Ford's Carnegie library is a single story of gray brick above a raised basement of rough-faced cast stone block. Its Greek Revival design probably originated in Carnegie Foundation offices. The north entrance of the rectangular building is centered in a slightly protruding bay with a cornice supported by pairs of wooden Doric columns. The Rocky Ford Museum, which had been housed in the basement since 1950, now occupies the whole building. A Post-modern addition (1990) and a wall to the south enclose a rear courtyard.
