Italianate massing and some detailing survive on this altered two-story brick house, considered the handsomest and most expensive ($4,000) house in town when Stephen C. Foote built it. Square, diamond, and fishscale shingling cover the mansard roof and help to integrate various additions, including a Neo-Victorian two-car garage.
