1886; moved 1910. 123 State St. (northeast corner of W. 2nd St.) (NR)

Moved here from Aspen, this little Gothic Revival frame church with a steep-pitched roof has a marble cross inlaid in the concrete entryway. A cross-gabled wing at the rear, finished in board and batten, added two rooms and a recess for the chancel, creating a T plan. In 1911 a belfry was added above the protruding entry vestibule to accommodate a 500-pound bell cast by Moncy Bell Company, Troy, New York. The clapboard shell is graced with lancet windows that shed light on a well-preserved interior.
