1918, Thomas MacLaren. 4 Park Ave., on west side of Broadmoor Hotel complex at southwest corner of Mesa Ave.

Julie Penrose, who donated the money to build this chapel, wanted it to be named for her grand-daughter. According to Marshall Sprague's Newport in the Rockies, “The good fathers … made haste to discover a deceased Saint Pauline in Rome.” This small stucco structure sits across the street from Broadmoor West in a grove of blue spruce and pine. Spanish Baroque details include a front facade statue of St. Paul with a tarnished steel halo.
