1904. Southeast corner of S. Downing St. and E. Bayaud Ave.

This open wooden structure of turned posts and bracketed crossbeams has glazed interior partitions and a shake shingle roof with a slight Japanese flair. Neighborhood volunteers help maintain this quaint station, far removed from the slick modern metal and glass bus stop shelters of which it is an ancestor.
